Coverage used here: 1 litre ≈ 200 sq ft. Actual consumption can vary with rust profile, porosity, preparation and application loss.

Shake well before use. Surface preparation is essential because loose rust and blistered paint cannot form a stable base.
Wire-brush away loose paint and rust scale. Remove blisters completely and clean off oil, grease and dust.
Apply the first diluted coat of Rusto Stop to the cleaned metal. This acts as the primer for the conversion treatment.
Apply one full coat by brush or spray. The reacting surface will begin forming a dark protective film.
For best results, apply the additional coats with an 8-10 hour gap between each coat.
Wait 48 hours for the conversion process to complete. After cure, wash with water or wipe with a damp cloth and let the surface dry.
