A pitch-epoxy-alkyd waterproofing coating that forms a flexible, moisture-resistant black barrier on prepared roofs and building surfaces. It is designed as part of a complete roof waterproofing system and works across RCC, brick, concrete, wood and lime-surkhi roof strata.
Coverage used here: 1,000 sq ft ≈ 20 kg for 2 coats. Actual consumption can vary with porosity, texture, preparation and application loss.

Use BlackCoat as a system. Follow the TDS supplied with your batch and do not coat over dirt, moss or trapped moisture.
Wash the surface thoroughly. Remove dirt, moss, loose material and contamination, then let the roof dry completely.
Apply two coats of SeelanShield as the recommended waterproofing base and allow the system to set as directed.
Use 1 part BlackCoat with 0.2 parts clean water. Mix until uniform before application.
Use 1 part BlackCoat with 0.1 parts water. Keep at least 4 hours between coats.
Keep the coating protected from rain, ponding and traffic while it cures. Inspect edges, outlets and thin spots before exposure.
